Halloween is over, the pumpkins are gone, and suddenly—it’s everywhere.

Christmas music.

Every store, every coffee shop, every car radio seems to have transformed overnight into a sleigh-bell extravaganza. Whether you love it or groan at the first notes of Jingle Bell Rock, there’s no escaping it.

In fact, that’s exactly how my book begins:

“Every year, Christmas music sweeps across the radio waves, transforming our everyday shopping experiences and public outings into a sleigh-bell extravaganza, whether we like it or not.”

That line became the heartbeat of Hurry Down the Chimney, my new holiday rom-com set in 1950s New York. It’s about the people behind the music—the dreamers and creators who pour heart and humor into the songs we hum year after year.

When songwriter Judy Jacobs and her partner Ira Silverman set out to write the next great Christmas hit, they never expect to create a classic—or to fall in love in the process. Along the way, they meet the glamorous Estelle Knight, a singer with a voice as unforgettable as her confidence, and together they capture the magic (and mischief) of the season.

Hurry Down the Chimney is witty, romantic, and full of retro sparkle—the Christmas movie I’ve always wanted to watch, but finally decided to write.

📅 The book officially launched today—November 5!You can grab your copy here: https://amzn.to/42rryVb

So go ahead—turn up the carols, pour a cup of cocoa, and let the season begin. Because if the airwaves are already jingling, we might as well enjoy the melody.
